Holy Spirit PTO

We are looking forward to an exciting, fun and event-filled year and invite you to be a part of it as we work diligently to strengthen the partnership between our parents and teachers to have the greatest impact on your child’s education.

Please review our PTO Volunteer Opportunities for all activities and events; there are lots of ways you can get involved and we hope you will consider volunteering your God-given strengths and talents to contribute to your child’s school experience. We believe a strong partnership with you will make all the difference to your student’s success. Fundraising Events

Box Tops for Education

Families purchase food items that have “Box Tops” on them, cut out the label and turn the labels into school. Once a quarter there is a contest between classrooms to determine who turned in the most box tops. Volunteers are needed to help count Box Tops and cut if needed.

Trash Bag Sale

We sell trash bags in various sizes. This is our most profitable and popular fundraiser of the year! Volunteers are needed to help sell bags and with distribution on pick-up day.

Holy Spirit Apparel Sales

Sale of Holy Spirit Uniforms and Sportswear. There are 4 sales per year. Volunteers are needed to help distribute orders.

Trivia Night

A fun-filled event of adult teams answering rounds of trivia questions in friendly competition. We also have a 50/50 drawing, silent auction, and Lucky Key Raffle. Proceeds benefit a different cause each year. Volunteers are needed to help with set-up, tear down, selling 50/50 tickets, and Lucky Key Raffle.

Community Events

Harvest Hoedown

This event is a fun fall night with school friends for the entire family. Trick or Trunk, dinner, corn hole contest, pumpkin carving contest, games, etc. Volunteers are needed for set up, food prep, clean up, activities, games, decorating, and donations of foods.

Breakfast with Santa

A fun day with school friends for the entire family to meet Santa! Volunteers are needed for set up, tear down, food prep, food donations, crafts, activities and ticket collectors.

Scholastic Book Fair

A great event where Students and Families can shop for a variety of books, posters, and accessories. We run two events every year (one in December and one in the Spring). Volunteers are needed to set up, tear down, and as cashiers.

Roller Cave Skating Parties

Skating parties are held at the Roller Cave from 6:30 – 8:30pm. There are six parties each year. Students and parents skate and socialize. Participation raises funds for HS Parent & Teacher’s Partnership! Volunteers are needed to help students check in the night of the event.

Father / Daughter Dance

This is a fun night of dress up and dancing for girls and their dads. Volunteers are needed to help plan the event, chaperone, food donation, setup and tear down.

Mother / Son Jam

A great chance for Moms and their sons to dance, play games and have fun together. Volunteers are needed to help plan the event, chaperone, food donation, setup and tear down.

Hospitality Committee

This committee provide meals and refreshments for teachers/staff at various times throughout the year. Volunteers are needed about 5 times a year to help with food preparation, collection, and set-up

Parent Leadership Committee

Chair forms a committee to plan the Halloween Parties, coordinate the Fat Tuesday Celebration, and plan the baskets for the Reverse Raffle auction. We are currently looking for a volunteer to chair this position.

Special Persons' Day

A day to honor a special person in your student’s life. The special person enjoys a light snack, activities, and visits to the classroom. Volunteers are needed for planning, serving food, set up and tear down.
